Characteristics

TRIBOFOOD GBX semi-synthetic oils are a blend of synthetic polymer and an isoparaffinic hydrocarbon base. Premium quality, high performance, food safe, NSF H-1 registered, colourless, gearbox oils. Fortified with anti-wear and anti-corrosion additives, they contain virtually no sulphur, nitrogen or aromatics which contribute to the degradation of other oils, and offer general purpose gear box lubrication. With a good resistance to high load capacity, the low coefficient of friction in these products helps to reduce operating temperatures and power consumption.

Applications

TRIBOFOOD gear oils are suitable for the lubrication of enclosed gears (worm, helical, bevel and spur), rolling bearings, plain bearings, slides and chains under high mechanical stress in all food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing areas as well as associated packaging industries. Compatible with most seals, rubbers, plastics, coatings and paints used in equipment lubricated with mineral or PAO oils.
